Program Description

Introduces cloud service models, deployment strategies, and management of virtualized infrastructure resources.

Course overview

Cloud Computing Essentials introduces the core concepts behind modern cloud infrastructure. You will explore how service models differ, how deployment strategies work, and how to manage virtualized resources in a live environment. The course combines short lectures with hands-on labs where you provision and configure virtual machines, storage, and networking components.

By the end of the term, you will be able to assess which cloud solutions fit specific business needs and manage day-to-day operations in a virtualised environment. You will also learn how to monitor usage and apply cost-control strategies.
