About this course

Learning how to price a construction project is a vital skill for any building professional. In this course, you will work through the full process of preparing cost estimates and bids for construction projects. You will learn to read plans, pull quantities, and apply current market rates for labour, materials, and equipment.

You will complete a mid-term project that covers material take-offs and a final project that puts together a complete bid package. By the end of the term, you will be able to produce estimates that are both competitive and realistic.
