What you will learn

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (collaborative) program prepares you to provide safe, evidence-based care across a wide range of health settings. You will study human anatomy, pharmacology, health assessment, and nursing research alongside core liberal studies and communication courses. Classroom learning is supported by hands-on practice in our simulation centre and supervised clinical placements at partner hospitals and community agencies.

Throughout the four years, you will develop critical thinking, cultural competence, and leadership skills. You will learn to work collaboratively with other health professionals, manage complex patient needs, and advocate for health equity. The program follows a concept-based approach, helping you connect theory to real-world practice as you progress through each level.

How the program runs

The program is delivered full-time on the Benchlands Campus and begins each September. Classes and clinical placements are scheduled across eight terms, allowing you to build your knowledge progressively. The curriculum includes a work-integrated placement term that gives you direct experience in a clinical setting before you graduate. You will also take general education courses in mathematics, sciences, and visual literacy to round out your academic foundation.

Admission

Admission to this competitive program is based on your high school grades or mature student status. You must meet the minimum grade requirements in English, Biology, and Chemistry. The provincial college application service opens for domestic applicants each year, with equal consideration given to applications received by March 1, 2027. International students apply directly through the polytechnic's application form and must provide proof of English proficiency. Once accepted, you will need to complete a criminal record check and provide immunization records before starting clinical placements.

Tuition and fees

Domestic tuition is $6,940 per academic year. Ancillary fees, which cover student association membership, health services, and campus facilities, are $1,125 per year. Financial assistance, scholarships, and bursaries are available to help cover these costs. International students should refer to the international tuition rates on the fees page. Payment plans are available through Student Financial Aid.

After you graduate

Graduates of this program are eligible to write the provincial registration exam for Registered Nurses. Our graduates go on to work in acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health units, mental health clinics, and community health centres. The degree also provides a strong foundation for graduate studies in nursing or health administration. The college's Co-op & Career Services office offers resume workshops, interview coaching, and job placement support to help you transition into the workforce.

How to apply

Domestic applicants submit their applications through the provincial college application service. International applicants use the polytechnic's own application form. You can upload your transcripts and supporting documents in myWrenford once your application is submitted. For questions about admission requirements or application status, contact the Admissions office or visit the How to apply page.

You will also take courses in communication and business so you can explain technical ideas to managers, clients and cross-functional teams.

How the program runs

The program runs for four years on the Benchlands Campus. You will study full-time during the September intake. The schedule covers eight regular terms plus a work placement. You will spend most of your time in the Escarpment Building for engineering and manufacturing courses, and in the Tamarack Building for shop work. The program includes a 14-week co-op placement where you work in a manufacturing setting. You will also complete a capstone project in your final term to solve a real industry problem. Your timetable is set out in the course catalogue, and you can track your progress in myWrenford.

Admission

To enter the program, you need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature student status. You must have completed Grade 12 math (C or U) with a minimum grade of 60%. You also need Grade 12 English (C or U), also with a minimum grade of 60%. International applicants must provide an English proficiency test score or equivalent. You apply through the provincial college application service. Domestic applicants should submit their documents by the equal consideration date of March 1, 2027. International applicants use the polytechnic's own form on the polytechnic website.

Tuition and fees

Domestic tuition is $6,940 per year. International tuition is $21,400 per year. These amounts cover your regular courses for the academic year. You will also pay ancillary fees of $1,125 per year. Co-op work terms do not add extra tuition charges. The college covers the coordination and workshop support for your placement. You can set up a payment plan or apply for fee waivers through Student Financial Aid.

After you graduate

Graduates move into roles that blend engineering knowledge with production management. Employers in the region hire our graduates for positions that require technical problem solving and process optimisation. You will be ready to work in manufacturing plants, engineering firms and technical sales offices across the province. The program also prepares you for apprenticeship levels in industrial trades if you choose that path later.

How to apply

You can start your application through the provincial college application service. Domestic applicants should submit their documents by the equal consideration date of March 1, 2027. International applicants use the polytechnic's own form. Visit the admissions page for step-by-step instructions.
What you will learn

You will learn how to design, build, and test software that runs on computers, networks, and the cloud. You will write code in multiple programming languages, manage data structures, and ensure systems run securely. Courses cover the full software development life cycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment. You will also study networking fundamentals, project management, and system architecture to understand how software fits into larger business environments. Labs are held in the Kingfisher Building, where you will use modern computer workstations and industry-standard development tools.

How the program runs

This full-time program is delivered at the Benchlands Campus and begins each September. You will complete four years of study across eight terms, followed by a 14-week co-op placement. The program includes three paid work terms where you will apply what you have learned in a professional setting. These work terms give you hands-on experience, help you build a professional network, and make you ready for the workforce when you graduate. Classes are held in the Kingfisher Building, where you will use modern computer labs and software development tools. You will work in small groups to solve real-world problems and present your solutions to instructors and industry guests.

Admission

To apply, you need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or you must be a mature student (19 or older by the start of classes). You must have Grade 12 English and Grade 12 math, both at a minimum grade of 60%. If you are an international applicant, you must also provide proof of English proficiency. Domestic students apply through the provincial college application service. International students use the college's own application form. We review applications on a rolling basis, but we recommend applying early to secure a spot in the September intake.

Tuition and fees

Domestic tuition for the 2026–27 academic year is $6,940 per year. International tuition is $21,400 per year. You will also pay ancillary fees of $1,125 per year, which cover student services, campus facilities, and the Student Association. Additional costs may include textbooks and software licenses. You can pay your fees in two installments, one before the Fall term and one before the Winter term. Payment plans are available for domestic students. Visit the Tuition and fees page for a full breakdown of costs and payment deadlines.

After you graduate

Graduates are prepared to work as software developers, systems analysts, network administrators, and quality assurance testers. The co-op work terms help you build a professional network and gain the practical skills employers look for. You will graduate with a portfolio of projects and the technical foundation to pursue further study or certification in specialized areas of technology. Our Co-op & Career Services office provides ongoing support for resume building, interview preparation, and job placement after graduation.

How to apply

Domestic students apply through the provincial college application service. International students apply directly through the college's application portal. You can upload your transcripts and supporting documents in myWrenford.
